Reimburse the expenses for out-patient care, hospitalization and surgery arising from Sickness or Bodily Injury occurring during the Journey.

Covers necessary follow up medical treatment incurred in Hong Kong SAR within 90 days upon the Insured Person’s return to Hong Kong SAR. This benefit is extended to cover the cost of treatment by a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

Covers if an Insured Person is the victim of a traumatic event and sustains Bodily Injury, Chubb will reimburse the expenses for trauma counselling incurred within 90 days from the occurrence of the traumatic event.

In the event of the overseas hospitalization of the Insured Person arising from Bodily Injury or Sickness, Chubb will pay daily cash benefit.

Daily maximum amount for Hospital Cash

If an Insured Person is confined in an overseas Hospital during the Journey due to Bodily Injury or Sickness and the Physician recommends to convalescence before continuing the Journey, the additional accommodation cost up to 5 nights incurred will be covered.

If the Insured Person suffers from Bodily Injury or Sickness resulting in hospital Confinement and requires the arrangement of hospital interpreter service, The Company will reimburse for the cost necessarily and reasonably incurred for the hospital interpreter service.

Maximum Sum Insured for Chubb Assistance

In the event of Bodily Injury or Sickness of the Insured Person requiring medical evacuation to another location for appropriate medical treatment on the advice of a Physician, cover for the evacuation arrangements and the related expenses.

Upon the death of the Insured Person as a result of Bodily Injury or Sickness, cover for the arrangement of the return of the Insured Person’s remains to Hong Kong SAR including the related expenses.

Compassionate Visit

Reimburse the cost of one economy class round trip ticket and up to 5 nights’ hotel accommodation expenses for one of the Insured Person’s relatives or friends to visit the Insured Person suffering from Bodily Injury or Sickness overseas.

In the event that the Insured Person is Confined as a result of Bodily Injury or Sickness during the Journey and is travelling with a child who is aged below 18 years, cover for arrangements to return the child back to Hong Kong SAR if the child would otherwise be left unattended.

"Chubb Assistance" provides the following telephone enquiry services:

• Interpreter Referral Service
• Medical Advice Service
• Hospital Admission Service
• Arrangement of guaranteed Hospital admission in an appointed Hospital in China
• Loss of Luggage and Travel Documents Assistance

Reimburses unused travel and accommodation deposits if your trip is cancelled due to sickness or death of the Insured Person or immediate family members; or adverse weather, industrial actions or natural disaster causing suspension of public transport etc. which results in delay in departure from Hong Kong SAR for at least 24 hours.

Reimburses unused travel and accommodation deposits if your trip is curtailed due to sickness or death of the Insured Person or immediate family members; or adverse weather, industrial actions or natural disaster causing suspension of public transpot.

Transportation expenses for sending an employee overseas to replace the insured person who needs to be repatriated to Hong Kong SAR due to bodily injury or sickness

Special Occasion Interruption

Pays HK$150 for the first 4 hours period of delay, pay HK$250 for each 8 hours period thereafter of delay if public transport is delayed due to mechanical and/or electrical breakdown/derangement, industrial action, adverse weather, natural disaster or airport closure causing suspension of public transport etc.

Maximum amount for additional accommodation or transportation expenses after 10 hours delay

Reimburses additional transport expenses as a result of the failure of public transport to get you to the departure port or airport due to strike or industrial action, riot, hijack, adverse weather conditions or natural disaster directly resulting in suspension of public transport etc.

Pays for the additional travel and accommodation expenses incurred in obtaining a replacement passport in the event of a loss or theft.

In the event that the Journey is prevented from reaching the scheduled destination due to an Insured Person being a victim of a hijacking of an aircraft during the Journey, The Company will pay a cash benefit of HK$500 for each day.

Excess per event under Personal Baggage and Personal Money (except for Baggage Delay)

In the event that the Insured Person becomes legally liable to pay compensation for an incident which causes Bodily Injury to another person or destruction of the property of others, Chubb will pay that compensation on behalf of the Insured Person.

Reimburse for any excess or deductible stated in the comprehensive motor insurance which an Insured Person becomes legally liable to pay in respect of loss or damage to the Rental Vehicle caused by an accident whilst the Rental Vehicle is under the control of the Insured Person during the rental period on the Journey.

Cover the loss of Household Contents from the Insured Person’s Principal Home as a result of burglary during the Journey.

Cover in the event the Insured Person sustains Bodily Injury and, as direct and unavoidable result, suffers Accidental death within 12 consecutive months of that Bodily Injury, Chubb will pay for any outstanding balance of credit card(s) of Insured Person for goods purchased by the deceased Insured Person during the Period of Insurance
